Starting Point

Starting point is a series of classes to help you connect with what God is doing at Saint Paul. Whether you are just curious about God or have been a follower of Christ for years, we’ve made it easy for you and your family to get connected, learn more, and grow in your relationship with Christ. Starting Point is a 3-week series of 1-hr sessions that runs each quarter, and it's the fastest way to get connected into deeper community and growth.

Class 1: Believing in Jesus

This class highlights the 1st core concept of The Saint Paul Way: Believing in Jesus. It provides newcomers and prospective members with a sense for what St. Paul is all about: covering the mission, vision, and core values of the church, as well as fundamentals of the faith and the basic spiritual disciplines needed for walking with Christ. It takes place the first Sunday of every month.

Class 2: Becoming who God made you to be

This session highlights the 2nd core concept of The Saint Paul Way: Becoming who God made you to be. It lays the foundation for discipleship. It covers the biblical call to include other believers in our walk with God. It also provides opportunities to get plugged in to a small group, bible study, or appropriate ministry at St. Paul where people experience growth through authentic, godly relationships. It takes place the second Sunday of every month

Class 3: Building the Kingdom

This session highlights the 3rd core concept of The Saint Paul Way: Building the Kingdom. It shares how we can think beyond ourselves to show God's goodness to those around us—in the church, and in our community—by serving and impacting as we build the Kingdom. It includes biblical principles of using your time, talent, and treasures to intentionally serve the church and those around you. Attendees will complete the Spiritual Gifts Assessment and be provided opportunities to begin engaging in service inside and outside the church. It takes place the third Sunday of every month. An opportunity for membership is provided at the end of this final session.
